Location: Yorkshire Wildlife Park, England
Today was my first time visiting the wildlife park in Yorkshire, England and boy am I glad I did! I didn’t think it would be that large and it was a great experience that I will thoroughly remember!
I wouldn’t necessarily call it a zoo but rather an animal sanctuary. There are a wide variety of animals and the most popular are the 4 male polar bears, named; Victor, Pixel, Nissan & Nobby.
It was so heartwarming watching Pixel, Nissan & Nobby running around and diving into the pools with Victor just sat back tucking into some enrichment. I didn’t realise how massive polar bears are in real life as watching them on television or video clips online can’t portray just how big they really are, they were mesmerising to watch.
Seeing them so happy and thriving in life was the best feeling and a pleasure to photograph. I will be definitely visiting again in the near future, thank you Yorkshire wildlife park!
